Methodology & source
Analysis of EU27 extra-EU imports classified under CN8 85433070: machines and apparatus for electroplating, electrolysis or electrophoresis, excluding equipment used solely or principally for manufacturing printed circuits. The analysis uses Eurostat Comext DS-045409, EU27_2020 reporter, IMPORT flow and monthly observations for January–June 2025 and January–June 2026. Identified-country rankings exclude EU27 members, WORLD, geographic aggregates and special/pseudo partners. Official extra-EU aggregates are retained separately and residuals are not redistributed. Trade value is reported in EUR and net mass is derived from QUANTITY_IN_100KG × 100 where applicable. The dataset does not isolate hydrogen-producing electrolysers and must not be interpreted as the EU hydrogen electrolyser market, EU production, consumption, installed capacity or total market size.
2026 figures currently cover January through June. Trade statistics may be revised by Eurostat after initial publication. No total-market size is inferred.
