Imports do not measure total EU market size, EU production, consumption, sales, equipment count or installed capacity. Supplier means country or territory, not company. CN8 does not identify final applications or end-use sector shares. Observed changes establish neither causes nor forecasts. Net mass is not unit count. Value per kilogram is not a market price or price index. MISSING is not zero. H1 supplier sums use observed months; incomplete histories limit direct comparisons. Statistics may be revised. This edition retains the approved source snapshot. QP/QW remain unattributed; QV is excluded.
Methodology & source
Eurostat Comext DS-045409; EU27_2020; IMPORT. EU27_2020 extra-EU imports of selected electrical resistors under CN8 85331000, 85332100 and 85332900, January–June 2025 versus January–June 2026. Results describe this selected trade scope only. Sum official EXT_EU27_2020 records only. Never add the official aggregate to supplier components. VALUE_IN_EUROS is EUR. The source indicator QUANTITY_IN_100KG is retained as an identifier, but its approved Value is already KG. No further multiplication is applied to dataset values. The separate reconciliation controls retain source 100KG units and are converted only for the internal comparison. Only approved country/territory observations enter rankings. QA (Qatar) is included under the corrected Principal approval. Statistical categories never receive country ranks. Supplier and Top 3/Top 5 value divided by official extra-EU value for the same CN8 and H1. Combined-scope shares use the sum of the three official CN8 totals. All 17,424 scalar records are preserved: 2,570 OBSERVED and 14,854 MISSING. Missing Value cells remain blank. Rankings show observed months out of six per CN8; combined counts are CN8/month cells out of 18. Official minus identified country/territory amounts. QP/QW remain separate; no redistribution. QV is excluded from the approved dataset and additive totals. YoY uses matching CN8, indicator and H1. H1 supplier amounts sum available observations; absent histories are blank. Tied values share a rank. Corrected Principal Approval and all four referenced SHA-256 hashes verified. All 72 monthly reconciliation controls and six ranking controls agree with the dataset. Extraction and source-update timestamps were not supplied. Approved inputs and SHA-256 hashes are listed below.
2026 figures currently cover January through June. Trade statistics may be revised by Eurostat after initial publication. No total-market size is inferred.
