Six selected generating-set codes

EU27_2020 extra-EU imports under CN8 85021120, 85021180, 85021200, 85021320, 85021340, 85021380, January-June 2025 versus January-June 2026.

Scope limitation: Selected extra-EU import flows do not measure total EU market size, domestic production, consumption, sales, installed capacity or generating-set counts. Official CN scope covers diesel or semi-diesel compression-ignition generating sets. No specific end-use market, including data centers, can be inferred. Supplier means country or territory, not manufacturer. Supplier H1 amounts sum observed cells; incomplete coverage limits comparisons. Missing is not zero. Value per kilogram is not a transaction price or price index. Net mass is not equipment count. Changes do not establish causes or forecasts. Annual code and description comparability does not establish that every tariff condition or general legal note is identical. Statistics may be revised. This edition freezes the approved extraction snapshot. For business information only; no investment, legal, tax or procurement assurance. Methodology & source

Source: Eurostat Comext DS-045409; EU27_2020; IMPORT; EXT_EU27_2020. Exclusive numerical source: Principal-approved Product 41 extraction ZIP, SHA-256 39810051c3d4ae05a40a014419b47cbb698a367cc5ce1b0d781b7870b513e7c1. Scope: Six CN8 codes: 85021120, 85021180, 85021200, 85021320, 85021340, 85021380. January-June 2025 versus January-June 2026. No annual estimate. Official totals: Sum matching official monthly extra-EU observations. Never add supplier components to their official control. Units: Normalized values are already EUR or kg. No commercial-stage conversion. Original QUANTITY_IN_100KG and raw 100 kg values are retained separately; the approved extraction applied factor 100 exactly once. Rankings: Identified non-EU countries and territories only; observed H1 sum descending, then partner code for ties. Entirely absent H1 amounts are not ranked. Shares and concentration: Supplier and Top 3/5 shares use matching official extra-EU denominator for identical code scope, period and indicator. Coverage: All 40,032 approved grid cells retained: 4,672 observed and 35,360 missing. Includes excluded EU/aggregate audit context. Only COUNTRY and applicable STATISTICAL_COMPONENT records are additive extra-EU components. Missing data: Blank values are missing, never verified zeros. Coverage is observed code-month cells out of 6 per code or 36 combined. Observed partial H1 sums are not complete supplier totals. Statistical components: QP and QW remain separate; QV is retained but excluded from extra-EU sums and rankings. No residual redistribution. QS/QZ would be applicable if observed; none are observed. Other excluded partners retain their source classification. Reconciliation: 144/144 monthly controls equal identified observed suppliers plus applicable observed components; QV excluded. Direct aggregate query controls also agree. An empty observed subtotal is arithmetic zero, not a source observation. Classification: Regulations (EU) 2024/2522 (2025 CN), OJ PDF p.619, and 2025/1926 (2026 CN), p.622. Same six codes, subheading descriptions and diesel/semi-diesel parent scope. Supplementary unit p/st means pieces and is not net mass. Evidence limitation: The approved extraction reused a hash-verified official 2025 CN PDF from an earlier evidence archive after a fresh URL returned HTML. No earlier-product numerical data are used. Original URL, evidence hash and retrieval provenance remain in the approved package. Snapshot: Extraction 2026-10-22T16:56:54.349180+00:00 to 2026-10-22T16:57:52.934323+00:00. Eurostat source update 2026-10-16T11:00:00+0200. Traceability: CSV preserves every original field and adds record type, reconciliation role and ranking eligibility. Source_file and source_jsonstat_index locate the raw payload scalar inside the approved ZIP. Workbook: Official inputs feed formula-driven Summary and Monthly. Rankings are approved snapshot order; amounts and shares recalculate from observations and official totals. Reconciliation is an independent audit view. Precision: Source precision is retained in CSV. Excel numbers use ordinary floating-point storage. Percentages display rounded; calculations use unrounded inputs. Period and CN8 identifiers are text. Source timestamps: Full ISO timestamps appear in source documentation and CSV. Raw observation timestamp cells in Excel use a literal leading apostrophe to prevent automatic date coercion and preserve microseconds.
